This Sunday (18 July) we drove up to Rosanna in Melbourne's North East to check out Elliston Estate. The estate, that is now heritage listed, is heaven for lovers of 70s homes, streets lined with native flora, houses designed by Graeme C. Gunn, Charles Duncan and a few more award winning domestic architects assembled by Merchant Builders in the late 60s specifically for the estate... houses with natural stained finishes, exposed bricks and wooden beams, no fences, surrounded by parkland and creeks... ahhhh
