On Monday night I saw Goran Bregovic and his Weddings & Funerals Orchestra from Serbia. They do the Serbian, gypsy, brass band thing better than anyone, especially their versions of the more traditional tunes. The Serbs know how to party, they went went ape shit and danced on tables, like in the film Underground (that Bregovic did the soundtrack for). I took this photo before the show of the drum kit they used at the Guca Festival, Serbia, in 2001.
